Juan Ramirez
Associate Attorney
Mr. Ramirez received his law degree from Rutgers Law School – Newark in 2019. Mr. Ramirez was the Justice Morris Pashman Scholar and a Maida Fellow, as well as an Equal Justice Works Fellow.
During his law school studies, Mr. Ramirez interned for immigrant rights organizations such as American Friends Service Committee and Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project. He also worked in the Immigrant Rights Clinic at Rutgers Law School. Through these experiences, he assisted low-income immigrants with legal services on a variety of immigration law matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and an appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals. He also clerked for the education and employment law firm of Adams Gutierrez and Lattiboudere. Mr. Ramirez is a member of the New Jersey State Bar.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Ramirez clerked for the Honorable Timothy P. Lydon, J.S.C. in New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Part.
He graduated summa cum laude from Rider University in 2016 with a major in Global Studies and a minor in Spanish.
Mr. Ramirez comes from a family of Mexican immigrants. In his free time, Mr. Ramirez loves to spend time with his wife Leslie, binge watching series and movies, as well as walking their dog Maui. He loves soccer and his favorite club is Manchester United.
